ham & cheese stacker

Just like my pork roast stacker, turkey stacker, and diner meatloaf stacker, this isn’t really a recipe. It’s more of a method for enjoying holiday leftovers. This one is particularly good with a little side of your favorite cranberry sauce. If you want, just top your ham with the cranberry sauce before you add the mashed potatoes.

Unless you’re one of those people who likes to keep all your food separate on a plate, I think you’re really going to like this. The cheese gets all melty on the buttery mashed potatoes. So good!

for one ham & cheese stacker:

1 piece toasted Texas toast, buttered

leftover, fully cooked ham, sliced and warmed

hot mashed potatoes

shredded, sharp cheddar cheese

cranberry sauce (optional)

Place the toasted Texas toast on a plate. Top with the ham, potatoes, and cheese. Serve immediately.

Enjoy!
