Oooohhhh! Are you ready for this creamy, dreamy cocoa laced with Bailey’s Irish Cream? Sometimes I make this with the original Baileys and sometimes I make it with my delicious homemade version of Irish cream. Either way it’s delicious and the perfect nightcap to enjoy by the fire while your Christmas lights are twinkling 😉
for one serving of Bailey’s Irish Cream Cocoa:
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
dash salt
1 cup whole milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 shot Bailey’s Irish Cream or Homemade Irish Cream
real sweetened whipped cream (NOT non-dairy whipped topping)
Mix sugar, cocoa and salt in a mug. Heat milk and pour it over the cocoa mixture in the mug. Stir well. Stir in vanilla extract and Bailey’s. Top with whipped cream and serve.
