wine tasting notes ~ redtree petite sirah
“Our 2009 Petite Sirah displays aromas of dark fruits and strawberries, with a hint of herbs in the background. This medium-bodied wine provides a mouthful of blackberry flavors and more red fruits, finishing with soft but full tannins.” ~ from the redtree wine website
We enjoyed this lovely petite sirah with our cheese, crackers, baguette and stew while visiting our friends the Nickelsen’s. It paired perfectly with the sharp cheddar and spicy chilies. Delicious!
Cheers!

I love me a good wine tasting. There’s a little winery about 20 minutes away (close to the folks place) and mom and I do a tasting several times a year.
Love it. Really fun with a good group of friends, too!
One of my favorite things to do! There are a couple great little vineyards close by that we frequent. LOVE going to one in particular, packing a picnic and gazing out at the vineyard while we sip our vino and nosh on yummy cheese 🙂
