i recognize that quilt~so happy that you love and use it! your day sounds like it’s starting just right! i hope your entire weekend is as lovely!
amy and i played a little tennis and then swam this morning. then played jenga, sequence and made a quinoa summer salad. i’ll have to pass along the recipe – really it’s just like tabouleh but using quinoa instead for a grain.
My favorite quilt! I do love it. 🙂 It’s been a great day so far, now I’m busy getting ready for company. Sounds like your weekend is starting out great! Thanks for commenting. xo
Got lazy and bought herb bread sticks to bake covered with butter, baked. Bought dill dip for dipping…No time to do anything more…
sounds good to me! my little grand girl loves dill dip. She’s two and she calls it her “dips.” so adorable 😉
Another glorious weekend and my senses are all over the place! LOL Loving my 3 days, although they went too fast as usual.
SEEING – the sunshine on my fresh cut lawn
SMELLING – the lilacs & lavendar blooming outside my windows
TASTING – shrimp & scallop pesto pasta for dinner
HEARING – wind the blowing through the trees, which I thoroughly enjoy even if it means storms might be headed in.
FEELING – surprisingly calm & peaceful about a big decision I made this week.
KNOWING – that I will always be able to handle anything in my life because I’m way stronger & confident than I ever use to be, and it feels great!
I love that you share your 6 senses with me every week Kimber. You make me look forward to my Saturday 😉 xo
