5minfudge

If anyone tells you that fudge has to be difficult to make to be good fudge, you can make them a batch of this in 5 minutes and prove that they are wrong, wrong, wrong 😉

This stuff is good. And it’s easy. I know you’re skeptical, but I’m NOT kidding.

Another cool thing about this recipe is it makes 4 pounds of fudge. Count ’em. FOUR.

That means you can save enough for yourself and give some away as gifts!

What are you waiting for?

6 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup real butter (8 Tablespoons)

2 (14 oz.) cans sweetened condensed milk

2 cups chopped walnuts (optional)

Butter a 9 x 13 glass cake pan.

In a large, microwave-safe bowl, combine all ingredients (except for the nuts.) Microwave, in 30 second bursts, and stir. Do this just until the chocolate is melted. Don’t over-heat chocolate or the fudge will get grainy. Stir in nuts, if using.

Pour into prepared pan. Smooth top (use fingers if necessary.)

Refrigerate until completely set.

Cut into squares. Place in an airtight container and keep in a cool, dry place. Sprinkle with a little powdered sugar just prior to serving.

Enjoy!
