Because of the amazing response I received after posting the recipe for my original overnight oats jar, I decided to share some other favorite overnight oat jar creations with you. This one is chocolatey, and so delicious you can enjoy it as a healthy dessert or maybe make it for your kiddo’s as an after school snack! The caramel in this recipe is already in the IKEA chocolate spread that I add to this oats jar. It provides a caramely crunch that I just love. If you don’t have access to an IKEA store, simply use Nutella or organic Nocciolatta in place of the chocolate spread and then drizzle a little caramel over the top just before serving.

Place the following ingredients in a large, wide mouth canning jar:

1/4 plain or vanilla greek yogurt

1/3 cup milk (I used unsweetened vanilla almond)

1/3 cup old fashioned rolled oats (not quick cooking, instant or steel cut)

2 heaping Tablespoons IKEA Chokladkrokant Bredbar spread with caramel pieces (or, Nutella or Nocciolata hazelnut spread)

2 teaspoons instant coffee powder (regular or decaf)

2 Tablespoons mini, semi sweet chocolate chips (I used “Enjoy Life”)

1 whole banana, sliced

Stir until all ingredients are evenly combined. Cover jar tightly and refrigerate overnight. Enjoy the next day for breakfast, lunch, or a snack.
