Chia shakes and smoothies are my new obsession.
Here’s a simple, delicious, one with only a few ingredients. It’s so refreshing and healthy and perfect for those mornings when you’re in a hurry, or those afternoons when you need a quick snack.
Don’t be tempted to add a bunch of other stuff to it. It’s perfect the way it is.
for one smoothie/shake:
1 large, frozen banana
1 cup unsweetened soy milk or oat milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 heaping Tablespoon organic chia seeds
Place all in blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and serve.
