“It’s Greek to Me” is one of my favorite Greek restaurants. WA Frost makes my absolute favorite Greek salad, but otherwise I get my Greek food at “It’s Greek to Me.”

My friend Shelly expressed an interest in this restaurant on my facebook page this evening, so I told her I’d post my favorite recipe (given to me by the owner) from this awesome place.

~Spicy Feta Spread~

4 green jalapenos

1 lb. Greek feta cheese, crumbled

1/4 lb. cream cheese

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/3 cup lemon juice

3 garlic cloves, minced

Place peppers on baking sheet. Bake at 500 degrees F. for 20 minutes. Peel skins. Blend feta and cream cheese in food processor. Mix in roasted peppers, olive oil, garlic and lemon juice 1 Tablespoonful at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add garlic. Combine all. Serve with toasted pita and fresh vegetables. Seves 10-12.

Enjoy!
