We’re making icy, refreshing Milano Mule cocktails this evening for date night on the deck. A Milano Mule is a Moscow Mule with an Italian twist. Instead of vodka, we use the always awesome limoncello. Some people make their mules in a lowball glass, but I think the copper mugs are a must!

for one Milano Mule cocktail:

fresh mint leaves + sprigs for garnish

2 oz. limoncello liqueur

Wild Ginger ginger beer

ice

lemon wedges

Muddle a small handful of fresh mint leaves in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add a large handful of ice and the limoncello to the shaker. Shake for one minute. Strain into a copper mule cup filled with crushed ice or ice cubes. Top off cup with Wild Ginger ginger beer. Garnish glass with a large sprig of fresh mint and a lemon wedge. Serve with a cute paper straw.

Cheers!
