Here’s an easy way to spice up grilled steak!
~Cherry Bomb Steak Sauce ~
1/2 cup whole cherry jam or preserves (I used Bonnie Maman)
2-3 Tablespoons dry red wine
1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 Tablespoon lite soy sauce, regular soy sauce or ponzu sauce
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes or 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix with a wire whisk. Transfer sauce to a jar and refrigerate until ready to serve. Spoon desired amount over grilled steaks (also great on pork or chicken!)
