tasting ~ tea, hot buttered rum and wine

seeing ~ snow kissed things, new Italian glass and English teacups from a recent antiquing excursion, Christmas decor, twinkling lights

feeling ~brisk breezes as we walk up to the corner market for ingredients for making dinner…. warmth from the fireplace, contentment in my heart, generosity of spirit

smelling ~ candles burning, woodsmoke from our neighbor’s wood burning fireplace, the blue watery scent of snowflakes

hearing ~ Christmas music, Jeff and Grace laughing like hyenas

knowing ~ “Hope is a waking dream.” ~Aristotle

    Very well done. I was thinking how we take ‘every day’ things for granted. We see them but don’t notice them & the beauty they hold. Thank you for the reminder that beauty is everywhere..
