soaking in all of autumn’s splendor… a six senses post welcoming my favorite season…
Tasting ~since turning the calendar page from September to October… buttery red wines in place of crisp, white fruity vintages, dark Italian roast coffee from D’Amico & Sons today as I took a coffee break while on location at a photo shoot in Minneapolis with the hubby
Smelling ~ woodsmoke, fresh apples piled in my kitchen after my visit at my friend Nancy’s miniature orchard…can’t wait to get some baking done tomorrow. I may just stay in my jammies, watch old movies on the little kitchen DVD player, and bake all day!
Seeing ~ someone I’ve been friends with for a long time in person today! How exciting! Hi Jenna! 🙂 ….red and brown transferware…the colors of fall! The beautiful Mill City Museum!
Hearing ~ the car radio to and from aforementioned photo shoot. I’m pretty sure I never have to hear another Taylor Swift song again for as long as I live. What is it with top 40 radio stations? sheesh.
Feeling ~ especially happy
Knowing~ that it’s time to simplify. In the words of one of my favorite geniuses… “Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex… It takes a touch of genius, and a lot of courage, to move in the opposite direction.” ~Albert Einstein
A busy, beautiful day!
What have you been up to?
