~ Garden roses continue to bloom in my gardens and all over Red Wing…

~ A birthday celebration getaway weekend at my mom’s in Forest Lake, complete with amazing massages, lunch and tea at my favorite Good Earth Restaurant (we had the original iced tea and the thai chicken pizza! YUM!), a carrot cake cupcake the size of a small planet, this movie (again!), some much needed pampering and relaxation, puppies, great conversation and presents… I love my new Polish pottery casserole pan, summer ice cream-themed dishes, table cloth, platter, dish towels, and a BIG box full of vintage cookbooks! Thanks, Mom! You rock!

~ A county fair in Cannon Falls on the 4th of July: rides, games, carousels, carnival music, exotic animals, beer, food trucks, chariot races and mini doughnuts…

~Date night with my hubby on the porch of the St. James Hotel’s “Hoop Skirt Cafe”… pinot grigio, calamari and lobster rolls for two… followed by a romantic stroll around our charming, pretty little town where everything is blooming! Too gorgeous!
