seeing ~ hundreds of antique and vintage books on my shelves… my goal is to read at least 20 this winter…I think I’ll start with Jane Eyre… I adore the yellowed, fragile pages, and the scent of old books

tasting ~ Yorkshire Gold tea with milk

feeling ~ like writing… I’m on a roll

hearing ~the bright tinkle of teaspoons clinking against teacups

smelling ~ fragrant, buttery, fresh baked apricot scones

knowing ~ “We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.” ~Thornton Wilder
