What I'm Listening To~ Regina Spektor

As some of you know, music is the life blood of my writing. I’m constantly looking for new music to inspire a new scene, or show me something I didn’t ever think to add to an ‘old’ one. I was recently out for a mid-morning walk when I decided to listen to an old playlist on my iPod. Regina Spektor came up on the screen. I listened to her for the next half hour…and serendipity, that darling, gave me a completely new idea and solution to a story puzzle my brain has been trying to unravel for weeks. When I got home the muse was waiting for me at the door, and sparkle pen in hand she showed me what to say.
