Looking for something different to do on Date Day with the hubby? How about a little road trip? Jeff and I spent a leisurely day traveling to Osceola Wisconsin, and then having a picnic and coffee at Cascade Falls. Only 40 miles northeast of the Twin Cities, and you find yourself in a little village oasis. There is a fantastic little coffee shop called The Coffee Connection where you can sit on a quaint patio, sip a mocha and enjoy the falls.
Cascade Falls is a 25 foot waterfall with a 30 foot crest, located on Osceola Creek. The village of Osceola shares a border with Minnesota and is separated by the St. Croix River. It’s a romantic spot to just get away for the day, and totally worth the trip.

You’re so welcome! this is a great little place! The coffee shop serves a yummy lunch as well. Our friends Heather and Tom also suggested another waterfall that I’d like to go see located in Willow River State park by Hudson…maybe check that out too! XO
