one ingredient magic banana ice cream
This is such an awesome recipe! I couldn’t believe how creamy it turned out. It tastes just like real ice cream. This really works, folks. One ingredient. I kid you not.
serves 4 to 6
6 large, ripe bananas
Cut bananas into small pieces and place them on plates in one layer. Place the plates in the freezer for 3 to 8 hours. Remove frozen banana pieces to the bowl of a food processor (do this in 3 batches.) Blend and stir (and blend and stir… you may have to do this a few times) until smooth. Scoop into pretty little bowls or sundae cups. Top with your favorite ice cream toppings.
I’ll be making this with several additions now that I know how well it works… I’m thinking chocolate hazelnut, raspberry, blueberry cheesecake…. the possibilities are endless!
Enjoy!

Breyers used to make a flavor called “Banana Fudge Chunk” that was to die for.
But like most things I like, they discontinued it. Ive been searching for a banana
ice cream recipe that I can add fudge to, and try and replicate it.
Hi David! I remember that ice cream. Yes, it was truly amazing! 🙂
