scenes from the last couple weeks

a picturesque marina, lake gazing and a chat with my friend, fresh bakery bread for a special weekend breakfast, iced thai coffee with extra condensed milk, bacon leek zucchini swiss quiche for “tearoom” lunch, cute delivery guys who pose for photos, old toys, lucky teacup finds, talented coffee-blender/roaster friends who send me coffee in the mail, an early morning glass of cold press on the front porch with the hubby, the anticipation of fresh heriloom tomatoes from my own garden, my deck herb garden…blessing me all summer long, wandering bell flowers, last roses of the season, unexpected beauty, sonic drive in diners, giant bacon double cheeseburgers with extra ketchup, a pretty birthday girl, peanut butter & bacon shakes, a crazy-fun slumber party, and a mall of america shopping excursion.
