My Favorite Steampunk Movie

I should say…this is my favorite steampunk movie because of how it looks. I am not a fan of Phil Pullman, or his philosophy. There are so many beautiful steampunk details in the movie based on his book, The Golden Compass, that I do have to watch it every now and then. And OH MY…the knitting in this movie! Don’t even get me started. I have the patterns for Lyra’s hat and sweater 🙂

and I love the picture of this airship…although I don’t believe this is an image from the movie

Winona did their fireworks during the Steamboat Days celebration last month and the City of Goodview waits until August during Goodview Days. This year we did not go out of town due to my circumstances so I watched the music and fireworks on TV from Washington, Macy’s celebration from New York and onto Boston…
