grandma’s ham salad

We still had a little bit of ham in the freezer that was leftover from Easter, so I decided to make up some of my grandma’s famous ham salad for a picnic! It’s so good, and so easy! Exactly like grandma used to make. Double or triple the recipe as needed to feed a crowd for a potluck!

*Note: Feel free to make this with or without the eggs, whatever you prefer.

3 heaping cups finely chopped, smoked ham

2 hard boiled eggs, cooled completely, peeled and finely chopped*

2 Tablespoons celery, finely chopped

1 Tablespoon sweet pickle relish

1 teaspoon onion powder

3/4 cup to 1 cup real mayonnaise

1/4 teaspoon dry mustard powder

Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix until evenly combined. Place in a container with a cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Serve on sandwich buns or with buttery crackers (such as Ritz or Club.)

Enjoy!
