the creamery in nelson wisconsin for lunch with jeff and grace (one of our favorite restaurants) … we bought some yummy cheeses to take home and enjoy later that evening too… snow… lunch at a local pub with my dear friend bonnie. it was so nice to catch up and hear all of her news. we had soup and sandwiches and iced tea (of course!)… all you magazine featured my recipe for spiced cherry ham in their march issue… a lunch outing at the local chinese buffet with my daughter andie and grandgirl, chloe…alice kitten being playful in the middle of the night when i was trying to sleep (oh, kitten!)… a much needed and very fun girlfriends’ weekend complete with wine lunch at craft in woodbury, hour-long massages at massage xcape, dinner and drinks at bennett’s in st. paul (the crab cake burger was to die for!), a poker game with new friends… Micah let me try some beer that he created under his own label “Broken Seal” and it was SO good, and… finally, brunch at the tavern in woodbury the next morning! (a really lovely buffet, I’ll definitely be returning) … enjoying some unseasonably good tomatoes with our grilled steak… and crabcakes for lunch at good earth with jeff and grace this past weekend. whew! 😉 what have you been up to?

XO,

~M

I just found your site from Pinterest and I love it. I love it even more when I realized you must live in the area I left my heart at when I moved to FL 🙁 The seasons are born in a person and even tho the temps are already in the 90’s here….I am thinking picnic food, wildflowers and the upcoming lilacs and morel mushroom hunting season. My sister just left here after 3 months and should be home today in the Maiden Rock area:)

Thank you for the wonderful blog! j
