big orange pumpkins on a porch, sunshine peeking out from behind clouds, blue skies, a hayride, a wine and cider tasting at our favorite apple orchard and winery (my favorites were the Cedar Creek Winery Settlement Gold and the Von Stiehl Skinny Dip Point White.) an orchard tour, golden corn fields blowing lazily in the breeze, rows of apple trees, apples for pie, shopping for strudel, Ellsworth cheese curds(the very best!), apple bratwurst and other delicious treats in the apple barn, a hay bale maze,  scarecrows, mums… the beautiful October ritual that has become a family tradition.

what are your favorite autumn traditions and rituals?

XO,

~Melissa
