seeing ~ a winter wonderland in Minnesota’s Mississippi River Valley (someone shook our snow globe!), the dreamy glow of Christmas lights

smelling ~ candles burning….candy cooking… cookies baking

tasting ~ Saturday morning Belgian waffle breakfasts… fajitas…good wine…salted caramel vanilla crunch cake

hearing ~ the muffled absence of sound that fresh snow cover brings

feeling ~ saddened by recent events in CT

knowing“Tragedy urges us to honor life by connecting even more deeply with each other- to locate our fiercest compassion, to do the soul-work required to endure unbearable grief in times of suffering. We can hold our families and communities close, share our vulnerable hearts, light the candles, sing the old songs, beat the drums, to raise the vibration of human consciousness and our potential for healing.” ~Pixie Campbell

Love,

~Melissa

Your six senses posts are powerful. The photos are stunning and stir holiday memories. Your tree with vertical ribbons and angel on top is heavenly. Love and light to all*~*~*~*~*
