feeling :: a cold cup of peach raspberry iced tea in my hand…sunshine and cool breezes while relaxing on the hammock with THIS BEAUTIFUL BOOK…swept away by the imagery and the simple pleasures throughout.

hearing :: THIS hauntingly beautiful song by the amazing Alex Clare.…oh, and THIS one too.

tasting :: pinot grigio, lemon chicken alfredo pasta with asparagus, artichoke hearts and parmesan cheese…soft, buttery, garlic bread, cold tossed salad greens and spumoni ice cream.

smelling :: Lavender linen spray on my freshly line-dried bed linens!

seeing :: floral print cotton shirts fluttering in the breeze as they take their turn drying on the clothesline.

knowing :: ” The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.”George Bernard Shaw

how did you spend this beautiful summer day?
