Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Top o’ the mornin’ to ya…hee hee. Do you usually do something special to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? Even if you’re not Irish? Well, they say everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. I’m actually a little bit Irish…something like an eighth. I usually celebrate by wearing something green, and I make reubens for dinner. The leprechauns use to visit our house (like the Easter Bunny and Santa…) No, I’m not kidding. We use to set out a specially decorated box and cookies, and the leprechauns would fill it with treats. Yeah, I’ll admit that was going a little overboard. I think it had to do with only having one little one in our house at a time. Grace thought it was fantastic. 🙂
This year we celebrated early. Our good friend TJ came over on Saturday and we had a bonfire out back, made the reuben sandwiches and he brought a cheesecake. The best cheesecake ever. So darn yummy.
So today I’m celebrating with an extra long cardio workout, a little writing, and then going over to my friends house for lunch and a movie.
